The partnership between Polyphony Digital and Sony is proof of their consistent dedication to improving the Gran Turismo 7, a well-loved racing simulation game. The latest update, known as patch 1.49, offers a robust infusion of new content into the gaming world.

Starting off with freshly added vehicles, lovers of Gran Turismo 7 now have six new car selections — the BMW M3 ‘97, the Ferrario 430 Scuderia ‘07, the Genesis X Gran Racer Vision Gran Turismo Concept, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 ‘08, the RUF RGT 4.2 ‘16, and the Subaru Impreza Rally Car ‘98. The update doesn't end there. It also introduces a new GT circuit, the Eiger Nordwand track, which is recognized by many fans from previous series.

Beyond these features, update 1.49 enhances the game's physics simulation model, affecting suspension physics and tire physical calculation models. This results in more natural weight shifts during cornering, as disclosed by Polyphony Digital. Another addition for those at Collector Level 50 or above is the novel GT Cafe Menu. Further improvements include enhancements to Sophy and more.

Fans of Gran Turismo 7 can experience these updates on their PS5 and PC platforms.
