The creator of Payday 3, Starbreeze, has released a new update about the popular heist game, celebrating its reach of 3 million players and announcing that previous matchmaking issues have now been resolved.

In a post on Starbreeze Entertainment's website, CEO Tobias Sjögren expressed his gratitude towards the game's patient players. He acknowledged the rocky start to the game's launch, but reaffirmed the company's commitment to steadily improving Payday 3.

He said, "Our community propels our games and our company. We acknowledge that the initial launch wasn't as smooth as we hoped, but we view our business model as a marathon, not race. We are committed to continuously enhancing Payday 3 to maximize value for our players." The company's plans for 2023 include improving Payday 3’s quality-of-life, releasing new content in November, and debuting the Syntax Error DLC during the winter season.
