Level Infinite has declared that the free-to-play shooting game by NExT Studios, SYNCED, will cease operation on September 9 at 11 AM (GMT+8). The game was first introduced on September 8, 2023, for PC and was intended to be available for Xbox Series X/S and PS5 later, but that plan has been cancelled.

The process of registering new accounts and microtransactions have been paused since July 9th. Until the termination date, servers and players' items will be kept functional. After the date, SYNCED will be inaccessible to play or download. Level Infinite has further detailed that it will keep user information for 30 days post-shutdown.

SYNCED, a futuristic shooter game set in a post-apocalyptic setting, allowed players to assume the role of Runners fighting the Nanos in a specialized exclusion area called the Meridian. An interesting characteristic of the game was the ability to hack a Nanos and employ them during combat, with both PvE and PvP options present. Our review of the game is available here - garnering a score of seven out of ten, with compliments for its aesthetic and gameplay but criticism for it's underwhelming progression and storyline.
