More than a decade later and sweeping through three console generations, Re-Logic’s Terraria continues to hold its own. Through a recent forum announcement, the developer unveiled that the side-scrolling sandbox action RPG has reached up to 58.7 million sales throughout its duration. Close to 32 million of these sales came solely from the PC version. The company also hinted at something special once they hit the 60 million sales mark.

Regardless of announcing Journey’s End as the final significant update for Terraria, Re-Logic is in the process of engineering update 1.4.5. This massive update will bring in a crossover with Motion Twin's Dead Cells, incorporating elements such as the possibility of suspending flasks from ceilings, a decapitated vanity outfit, armor like 'The Killing Deck' and 'The Flint, and a health fountain.

An array of themed weapons is on the anvil, including a unique one from the villain Moon Lord. Fulfilling a fan's Make-A-Wish request, Re-Logic will incorporate the Heroicis Set. Accompanying this outfit will be a fresh Film Noir shader, providing a monochrome overlay. Fans should anticipate an update of 1.4.5 later in the year and stay vigilant for more upcoming details.
